Natasha Sharma, M.Sc., CCPA
Founder and Director
Natasha Sharma is a relationship therapist, author, speaker, TV/media spokesperson, and doctoral student. She is also the Founder and Director of NKS Therapy, and the author of The Kindness Journal. Natasha received her Masters degree in psychology from The Johns Hopkins University, and is currently in the final year of her Doctoral degree in psychology. She has over 6 years of clinical experience specializing in the assessment and treatment of a range of cognitive and psychological disorders, and has worked with individuals in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationships/marriage/dating, parenting, ADHD, and cultural issues. She has also conducted over 400 comprehensive psychoeducational, psychovocational, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) assessments. Natasha is clinically supervised by Dr. Jon Mills, Registered Psychologist, of Mills Psychology.
Karey Wilson, M.A., OACCPP
Therapist and Clinical Counsellor
Karey is a counsellor and therapist with a wide range of experience and expertise who enjoys helping clients create meaningful change in their lives. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Windsor, where she focused on psychological assessment and therapy for adults. She has worked in university counselling centre, hospital, community agency, and private practice settings. She currently works with adolescent and adult clients with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety (worry, panic attacks, OCD, social or performance anxiety), depression, stress, trauma, addiction, relationships, and living effectively with mental illness.
As a therapist, Karey has been described as warm, approachable, and down-to-earth. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning she often draws from several different psychotherapy theories and techniques in order to provide a unique and effective therapy experience for each client. She is most familiar with Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic/Interpersonal, and Humanistic approaches. She works hard to cultivate trust, understanding, and accurate empathy with her clients so that through a spirit of collaboration they will feel free to grow to reach their potential for a better life.
Karey enjoys the arts, shopping consignment, and talking walks that include stopping to sit on any random city bench. She is clinically supervised by Dr. Jon Mills, Registered Psychologist, of Mills Psychology.
Jennifer Gomez, M.A., OACCPP
Therapist and Clinical Counsellor
Jennifer Gomez is a counsellor, therapist, and researcher with a passion for empowering clients to create fulfilling and meaningful lives for themselves. She received her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, where she focused on understanding the risk-factors of non-suicidal self-injury. She has worked with children, youth, and adults in clinical, educational, and community settings. Jennifer currently works with clients of all ages on a wide variety of topics, including: anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviours, relationships, trauma, career, and learning/study skills. As a counsellor, she operates from a strength based, client-centered, and holistic approach that is rooted in compassion, empathy, and mutual respect. Jennifer believes that through self-exploration, clients have the ability to creatively and effectively make positive changes in their lives. Jennifer is clinically supervised by Dr. Jon Mills, Registered Psychologist, of Mills Psychology.
Social Media Manager and Office Administrator
Maria is an undergraduate psychology student at York University. She aspires to be a Psychologist one day, and her exuberance and energy make her a valuable team member at NKS! In the winter, Maria also finds time to be on the slopes where she is a snowboard instructor at Centennial Hill.
